Hey everyone, today I have for you my third Sunshine Blogger Award! A huge thank to the awesomely amazing Hannah Maggie of Light Writes. Her blog was one of the first that I followed when I began this writing journey, and it still continues to entertain and inspire me. She is not only a great writer, blogger and YouTuber but also a genuine and supportive individual. Go and check out her work and show her some love! 😊

The questions that I was asked.

What’s your method of coming up/writing your blog posts?

As the majority of my posts are forms of fiction (mainly short stories), my main method of coming up with posts depends on what inspires me at the time. This is normally watching a show or movie on Netflix, playing a computer game or visiting somewhere. In addition to my fiction posts, I also enjoy sharing things that have inspired me or things that I have learned. So, I guess the general answer to that question is: I sit down and write what comes to mind. Sometimes this comes out as a complete ramble, but what matters is that it’s true to me and who I am.

How do you get over a writer’s block?

I am lucky enough not to have suffered from writer’s block… yet. Sometimes I get stuck with what I’m writing and just move onto something else for a couple of days. I usually find that I can come back to things with a new perspective and eagerness.

What activities would you like to make a hobby out of someday?

I honestly can’t think of anything. I already have so many hobbies, that I struggle to find the time for them all. Writing literally takes up the majority of my time, anyway.

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

All of the above, but mostly coffee. I can’t write without coffee. It is the thing that fuels my stories. My favourite is a Starbucks white chocolate mocha (same as LightWrites xD) if anyone wants to deliver me one. 😉

Biggest junk food addiction?

Um, which one? I have many. 😛 Pizza, McDonalds and bubble-gum flavour fizzy liquorice… are probably the main ones.

Realistically, if you win the lottery, what would you do with the money?

The first thing that I would do is donate a percentage of it to mental health charities. I have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to the people that helped me through a time when I struggled with my own mind. If I could help those that help other people with their struggles, I would in an instant. (And I do plan to raise some money for these charities if I don’t win the lottery sometime soon.) Then I would use the rest of it to support myself while I write full time.

How do you remember people by the best? Their faces? Scent? Their voices?

Probably faces. I’m a very visual person, and that is also how I learn best.
What guarantees a complete 180° when you need to be uplifted from a bad day?

Going for a long walk and getting plenty of fresh air. While walking, I concentrate on clearing my mind of the negative and replacing it with the positive.

Do you see yourself blogging for a very long time?

I do indeed. It’s become something that I love doing. I love the community, reading other peoples posts and being inspired by the variety of creativity. I love adding to community with my own work and input. It has given me the confidence that I need to succeed in the world of writing, and because of that, I couldn’t imagine myself leaving.

Name one (or more) food that you absolutely cannot stand.

The vast majority of seafood.

How do you stop yourself from having blog envy?

I don’t have to stop myself because I don’t get it. Or haven’t had it yet, anyway. 😛
