Due to the surprising amount of interest on social media for my new fiction work, I thought I’d do a quick post to let you know a bit of what it’s all about.

Beyond Reality, Born of Dust follows the journey of Professor Gabriel Yedit. Gabriel is a troubled soul with a brilliant mind. After becoming certain of a reality beyond his mundane existence, he focuses his genius on breaking the veil that separates his world. By harnessing the power of ancient knowledge and new technology, he succeeds in his mission. With realities unbound, Gabriel discovers more than he had ever anticipated. As his mind and his world around him falls to chaos and madness… he discovers love.

Beyond Reality, Born of Dust is a story about the unknowns of this universe, at its core. It touches on the power of curiosity, obsession and love. Ultimately, it asks the questions; Is what we have here, on this planet, in our lives, enough?

I began writing this book not so long ago but am already fully immersed within the story. It started life as a short story, then exponentially expanded into something more. At first, it was just going to be part of a creative break from my other work in progress The Hunter, but it swiftly became my focus. There is something about it that just felt right. I have always been intrigued by the unknown and what might be beyond the things that we can perceive, such as alternate realities. My general interest in theoretical physics has had a huge impact on this. As such, when combining these things in my fiction, I have drawn upon my obsession with Lovecraftian literature. I hope that, when this book is released in the near future, you will see these influences.
